US raises Russia wheat export 2018–19 forecast to 36.5 mln tns

MOSCOW, Dec 12 (PRIME) -- The U.S. Agriculture Department has raised its forecast for Russia’s wheat exports in the 2018–2019 agricultural year, which lasts from July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019, to 36.5 million tonnes from 35 million tonnes, as seen by PRIME in the authority’s December market overview late Tuesday.

The wheat harvest forecast was confirmed at 70 million tonnes.
